These Market Mavens Are Buying The Blood

We’ve got serious 2008 “heebie jeebies” going on right now.

With a Fed more aggressive than a mongoose in a burlap bag, a Chinese property bubble going pop, and the Europeans using medieval technology to keep their homes heated…

It just feels like anything could happen. 

Weird things happen to China when the Dollar makes a move like this against the Yuan:

Sprinkle in the recent collapse of the British pound:

And the cracks in the Gilt market (basically the UK Treasuries market):

In fact, the selloff was so bad that the Bank of England had to print money to buy bonds to “restore orderly market conditions.”

That’s not the kind of words that I want to hear from a Central Banker.

I’m viewing this not as the end of the world, but as an opportunity… because if this keeps up, we’re going to see some massive value dislocations in the markets. 

There’s a ton of different ways to find these “dark value” trades. 

You can use sales multiples, enterprise value, or just blindly buy and hope for the best.
